Eligibility of Aston University

The following information pertains to the requirements for admission to Aston University. We offer various routes for international students to apply for our undergraduate programs. English Language Requirements: You can be exempted from the English language requirement if you have successfully completed any of the qualifications listed below with the corresponding grade in English: If you do not meet the waiver criteria, you must take one of the approved English language qualifications. Please refer to our English language requirements webpage for a full list of accepted qualifications. Academic Requirements: In addition to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE/ISCE) or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and State Board qualifications, we accept other international school qualifications such as IGCSE and International Baccalaureate for direct entry into our undergraduate programs. The admission standards are equivalent to those stated in the 'Entry Requirements' section on our program websites. Please note that some programs may also have specific GCSE requirements (equivalent to Standard 10th) as stated on the program page. If this applies to your desired program, we will assess your eligibility at the time of application. If you have completed a 3-Year Diploma after High School, you may be considered for direct entry on a case-by-case basis. Please contact [email protected] to determine your eligibility. If you do not qualify for direct entry, our International Foundation or International Year One options can help you progress to an undergraduate program at Aston University.
