The English as a Second Language (ESL) and French as a Second Language (FSL) courses are available at both the Quebec City and Montreal campuses. The fee structure for Ministerial Courses ranges from $11,500 to $17,000 for domestic students, depending on the program. For international students, the fees are between $17,000 to $24,000. Moreover, all international students are also eligible for a $1000 scholarship from the institute. The Language Course fees for Beginners, Elementary, and Pre-intermediate levels are approximately $5300, while for Intermediate, High Intermediate, and Advanced levels, it is around $3400. College Avalon offers three Ministerial Courses, including the 15-month Executive Assistant (AEC-LCE.00) program, which is offered in both Quebec City and Montreal campuses. The 24-month International Business Management (AEC-LCA.FM) and Computerized Accounting & Financial Management (AEC-LCA.FN) courses are only available at the Montreal campus. The intakes for all these programs take place in January, May, and September. International students at College Avalon are eligible for Post-Graduation Work Permit (PSWP) opportunities.

The minimum English language requirement for this university is an overall score of 6.0 in the IELTS exam, with acceptance of a band score of 5.5. Another accepted language test is the PTE, with a minimum score of 54 in total and no module scoring less than 50 points. The Duolingo test is also an accepted option, with a minimum score of 110.
