The Florida State Institution is a renowned public university located in the vibrant city of Tallahassee, Florida. Established in 1851, FSU has become one of the top universities, both in the USA and in the world. However, when it comes to university rankings, FSU has been placed below the top 300 universities by various ranking sources. For instance, from 2016 to 2022, the Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking) has consistently ranked FSU between 201 and 300. Similarly, for the past four years (2019-2022), THE (Times Higher Education) has placed FSU among the top 250 universities in the world. On the other hand, according to US News & World Report, FSU has slightly dropped in ranking over the last four years and is currently positioned at 223 in the United States. Moreover, the QS (Top Universities) global university ranking has placed FSU between 511 and 520 for 2022. It is worth noting that since 2017, QS has positioned FSU outside the top 400 universities. Despite this, FSU has been gradually increasing its rank among US universities.
