Eligibility of Johnson and Wales University

Requirement for International Applicant International applicants, who do not hold US citizenship or permanent residency ("green card"), are required to fulfill the same admission criteria as other candidates, in addition to submitting some supplementary documents. The following documents must be provided by international applicants: Application An accurate, comprehensive and legible international application. All schools attended, along with dates of attendance, must be listed. Transcripts Official secondary school transcript including date of graduation, subjects and grades obtained. Diplomas and external examination results, if any, should also be submitted. For students yet to complete secondary education, a transcript with all completed work and projected graduation date must be provided. All non-English documents should be accompanied by certified word-for-word translations. Transcripts, mark sheets, diplomas or certificates from any attended post-secondary institutions, along with course descriptions and credit values, must be submitted for transfer evaluation. English Proficiency The results of the English Language Proficiency test (if applicable or available, please refer to the English Proficiency Requirements). For evaluation, all English proficiency documents must be uploaded to the applicant's portal. I-20 Processing Submission of the reservation deposit through the application portal. A copy of the biographical section of the applicant's current passport. Proof of financial support for one academic year, in the form of a certified bank statement or a government sponsorship letter. Bank statements must not be more than three months old. Both the applicant and sponsor must sign a financial declaration. In the case of existing F-1 visa students, a transfer verification form is mandatory. This will be provided to students as required. For evaluation, all I-20 paperwork must be uploaded to the applicant's portal. All documents and information must be clear and legible. Failure to provide necessary information may delay the admissions process.
