Eligibility of Ohio Wesleyan University

The Admission Committee at Ohio Wesleyan University has concluded that students who have taken college preparatory courses during their high school years will be better equipped for academic success. To meet the requirements, students are expected to have completed 4 years of English, 3 years of social science, 3 years of math and science, and a minimum of 2 years of foreign language studies (although 3 years are recommended). It is recommended that students aim for a high GPA of 3.4 and be in the middle of their high school class. A combination of A and B grades, with minimal Cs, is expected. However, if a student has a lower GPA, it can be offset by taking more challenging courses such as AP or IB.
