Eligibility of University of Technology, Sydney

The eligibility criteria for applicants to UTS may vary by country. In order to apply for a course, candidates must meet the university's minimum requirements. Indian students must adhere to the following guidelines: Undergraduate Studies To be considered for admission, applicants must have successfully completed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) from any educational board (CBSE/CISCE/State Boards). The acceptable grading criteria are as follows: - CBSE: The top four subjects will be taken into account, with A1=5, A2=4.5, B1=3.5, B2=3.0, C1=2.0, C2=1.5, D1=1, D2=0.5. - CISCE: The overall percentage average of the four externally assessed subjects will be considered. - State boards may have their own pass percentage requirements. Postgraduate Studies Candidates must have a recognized degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor's degree in order to apply for PG programmes. The applicant's academic performance at the bachelor's level will be thoroughly reviewed during the application process. Some courses may also require relevant work and/or research experience. For research programmes, a research proposal must be submitted as well.
